Job Summary
We are looking for skilled fabricators to work on installation of various truck bodies and other truck up-fitting. These include but are not limited to dump beds, flat beds and service bodies along with associated hydraulic systems.
As a fabricator you would be expected to weld and wire in components for truck bodies.
This job involves operation of fabricating machinery including a shear, break, and plasma cutter as well as welding both steel and aluminum.
Concise and accurate understanding of measurements is necessary.
Compensation is based on skill level and proficiency

Responsibilities
- Welding
- Wiring in lights
- Proper Instillation of beds
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Starting at a young age Mike Beacom found an interest in mechanics and in 1986, upon graduating from high school and technical school, he began working as a mechanic. He then furthered his skills by attending Mack Technical Training. After working and running different shops throughout the years he ventured out on his own opening Mike’s Truck Service & Sales, Inc. in 2003.
In 2011, we moved to our current location. Continuing to grow, we further expanded our shop in 2014. With the expansion, we added on a fabrication shop and upfitting center. We are an authorized dealer for Goodwin MFG Inc. and we stock a wide range of their products. We also are an authorized Stahl dealer and carry several different variations of their service bodies. Our fabrication shop includes shears, breaks, and iron workers with a variety of metal cutting and welding capabilities.
